On behalf of the Captain and Brigade, thanks go out to all units and residents in the area for the support
during and since the fire.

STORMS HIT EMERALD: On Saturday afternoon 6.3.10, violent thunderstorms with heavy rain and hailstones hit Melbourne. The Dandenongs were severely hit with flash flooding, strong winds and hailstones from the size of golf ball to baseballs. Large parts of the area lost electricity with powerlines and trees falling.
Many calls came in for the SES with calls for help for trees on houses and leaking roofs.
With so many calls, Emerald SES asked fro assistants from Dandenong CFA Brigades to help priorities and assist with fallen trees in the Emerald and surrounding areas.
Thanks to all the Dandenong Brigades with their assistants and help.
