Brigade Vehicles
Have a look at the history page on this site. The trucks and equipment were very primitive in those days to what our and other brigades throughout Victoria are equipped for fighting fires today.
Below are the appliances at Emerald. The Salvage vehicle is a Brigade owned vehicle. A new vehicle has been planned and ordered and is due to come into service late this year or early 2011.

	Tanker Carrying 3000 litres of water, Class A and B Foam, this primary appliance owned by the CFA is primarily used for grass and scrub fires or transporting water to fires, Can carry up to six crew (5 on strike team duty) this vehicle is four wheeled drive, This is particualry useful in rugged terrain.

	Salvage
