Emerald
Fire Brigade is fully run by volunteers and has a proud history since
1941. Part of the Dandenong Ranges Group in Region 13, Emerald Fire Brigade has a great role in supporting the community in preventing incidents which include structure fires, grass fires, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous materials and various other incidents. The Brigade also supports surrounding brigades for emergency calls. These include Clematis, Cockatoo, Macclesfield, Monbulk and Upper Beaconsfield. Members also could be asked to respond to incidents outside the area including all parts of Victoria and other States including NSW. |
BURNING
OFF Fire Restrictions have been lifted in the Shires of Cardinia and Yarra Ranges. However, each Shire have days and times you are allowed to burn. NO BURNING ON SUNDAYS IN EITHER SHIRE. For further information, phone your Shire of residence or view there websites.

BRIGADE
MOVED INTO NEW STATION!!!! On Sunday 4th July, the Brigade moved into there new station on Emerald/Monbulk Road and will be responding to calls from there from this date. The official opening of the station will be on Sunday 8th August. This will be a big day for the Brigade with a pipe band and the Brigade marching from the old to the new station in full dress uniform. WATCH THIS SPACE FOR FURTHER DETAILS!! |
